           Amazing Grace

I once read a newspaper account about a little boy who was lost in the mountains. When he was finally found, a reporter asked him what it was like being lost. The little boy replied, "I yelled and yelled and nobody heard me because nobody answered me. But then you heard me, and then I got found. I'm glad you heard me."

Can you imagine the loneliness of being all alone with no one to hear you? Can you imagine the emptiness of having no one to talk to when you need a friend? Hard to imagine, isn't it? And yet millions are dying without Christ. Countless numbers of souls go down into the pit alone and empty for eternity.

Do You Know My Jesus?

                V.B. Ellis & W.F. Lakey

Have you a heart that's weary

Tending a load of care?

Are you a soul that's seeking

Rest from the burden you bear?

Where is your heart, O pilgrim?

 What does your light reveal?

Who hears your call for comfort

When not but sorrow you feel?

Who knows your disappointments?

Who hears each time you cry?

Who understands your heartaches?

Who dries the tears from your eyes?

Do you know my Jesus?

Do you know my friend?

Have you heard He loves you?

And that He will abide til the end?

Tell someone today about Him.

Psalm 28:1 - “Unto Thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.”

the continuity of the waves flowing in and out, without pause, remind me of God's grace and mercy....it flows over each person who asks for it, without pause

My dear Lord, I thank you so much for the love and the mercy and the grace that you poured out on me when you willingly went to die on Calvary. Lord, let me not be ashamed to tell others about You. Father, how often I forget that You are not willing that ANY should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Lord, I ask for enough love to snatch others from the edges of the pits of hell, so that they too can sing with me, "I once was lost, but now I am found. Was blind but now I see." Amen
