I wrote my first poem when I was 8. I think I've written over 1000. I only have a couple hundred saved.

Poetry

I love the written word in verse.  My mind sometimes looks for rhymes.  Trees, bees, knees, please.  There are so many different types of poetry.  I've been writing verse for years.  I'll put up some old ones first, and maybe I'll create some new ones.  I wish I had every one I've ever created, but they've disappeared one way or another.  Oh well, that's life, no strife.  Heh heh heh

The Teapot is a National Landmark in Zillah, Washington. (The shutter wasn't all the way open on my camera and I didn't know until I was editing pix later). The Teapot was owned by my mother's cousin's husband for years and was actually an active gas station. I remember getting candy or gum from my cousin, Tony, when he was running it. My cousin, Dick, sold it, and not it is in disrepair. I guess the person who bought it was more interested in having a landmark than in having it look good.

I did not write this one.  I have loved it for years.  I couldn't remember the whole thing, so I googled my favorite line and **presto** (I love Google!!!)

* After a While

Someone sent me this one...I like poetry and I appreciate when people send me good poems.
