Who/what is JustPlainSandi?
2006
My hiking name is JustPlainSandi, and I like it enough that I decided to use it as my "umbrella" for everything I do.  I don't have a "mate", or a "help-meet" anymore, so most of the stuff I do in my life is done by me...or JustPlainSandi.

I shortened that to JPS for my jewelry line -- JPS Designs.

Hi!

I am interested in just about everything I see.  I have driven a 18 wheeler, audited taxes, raised Siamese Fighting Fish, been a Camp Fire leader, a CEF leader, a Sunday School teacher, waited tables, written poetry, sold real estate, owned a payphone company, given birth to 3 sons (and watched them grow into men), and so many other things that I can't remember.

I used to babysit so that I could stay home with them while my sons were growing up.  The 3 boys and I delivered newspapers together, too.  It was funny watching Andy carry the Sunday paper, it was bigger than he was!

Now?  Now I do a whole lot of things!  I write devotionals, write songs and poetry, I worte a kids' book for my grandson, I make jewelry, attend Bible Studies, am a CEF teacher, as well as interning to be the On-Site Camp Director for Camp Good News. Sometimes I think about taking that Appalachian Trail hike (or even just the Oregon coast), I love my kitties and dog, and try to find the path God has set for me ***today***   It is safe to say that I am never, not ever, bored!

I hike, fish, camp, write, read, & sew. I like to garden, enjoy indoor plants, look for rocks, kind of sort of play the guitar, dally with the piano, and used to play the clarinet. I love aquariums, and to work puzzles.  I love mountains, don't really like the beach, and I love Oregon.  Check me out!  Keep coming back - things will be added as often as possible!
